Click on the tool. Click on the tread file and boom! Saved me a lot of time instead of doing it manually. Time saver if you need to fully model the thread. Only downside is creates large file size, but still great. As everyone else is saying, great for the most part, just needs to be refined so can do more thread styles as well as holes properly. Otherwise, very handy and cool. The error I get the most is "Failed, try with a bigger pitch offset value", no matter what I try, does not work.
Muy buena aplicacion! Does exactly what I needed it to do: make matching 3d-printable threads on holes and surfaces with just a handful of clicks. Support for more non-standard ISO metric threads would be cool, but there are plenty here as-is.
Very handy extension to have! The downloading and aesthetics of threadModeler are fine, but, unfortunately, this application is not compatible with. Inventor does not recognize the threadModeler modifications to the. I submitted this to coolOrange tech support. They acknowledged that this was a problem and acted as though this was the first time anyone raised this issue with them.
I downloaded the plugin. The installation was successful but i can't see the app in the ribbon. Is it working in version ?? I don"t normally rate things but I wanted to give this five stars because of how amazingly useful this is. Huge thanks to the developers of this tool.

The auto unwrap UV's tool should work fine afterwards. Disabled it? Crashes every time I change icon size in the layout window tried on different computers. Images displayed in icons are not scaled so appear cropped. I just installed the bonus tool but there are missing some option, like in modeling slide components is missing and also draw split and draw reduce. It was working for me for a while. But then just stopped suddenly. Previous value will be overwritten by explicit initializer. I wanna too support for Maya , because i 'm a beta tester of Maya, so we have already. Would be great to have bonus tools for it already, but i don't believe they will do it. I have a lot of fatal error when I change the options of this tool I want to see my shaders library vray, arnold, maya shaders : no icons.
Any way to see them? This crash bug has been fixed in the latest version of BT. This fix should work in both Maya and Maya Otherwise icons can been created and viewed for any mb, ma or fbx file. I have the same problem here, still not working, same error Will this work with Maya or has it been obsoleted for this version? I literally can't think of anything else I'd want from this add-on. I use this for converting the built in thread representations to 3d printable objects.
This saves me a lot of time and ensures an accurate thread. If you only use metric threads it would be a nice app, but threads for Pipes Withworth is not implemented yet. So useless for 3D-Printing, only suitable for representation. Instead of lossing further time it's maybe better to generate his own ifeature Good approach, would be nice to continiue to make it suitable for 3D-Printing even with pipe-threads or trapezoidal threads.
